Summary
“If you are going to study Medicine, then be a doctor who can look after me personally when I’m injured!”This is the promise that was produced between Amamiya and his closest friend Kaji soon before graduating. Flash forward a decade plus Amamiya has become a skilled orthopaedist, while Kaji finds themselves dealing with an injury that has delivered his thriving football profession to a premature end.Looking to cheer up his unemployed, recently-divorced friend, Amamiya takes Kaji out for dinner. Afterwards, the heavily-drunk Kaji gets into a car accident that leaves him without memory of the events pursuing his high school years. In hot weather of the moment Amamiya, that has long harbored unrequited emotions for Kaji, blurts away, “I’m your lover. Please return home with me”…!?
