Follow up to Memory of the Future (Mirai no Kioku) Kento will be mild-mannered, straightforward and very honestly, a bit boring. From 26 he’s landed their first full-time position training at high school and does every thing he can to make his grandpa and grandma, who took him into raise after his parents’ tragic death, proud of your pet. Unfortunately Kento is homosexual… and they ~don’t~ approve. Get into Akira, a ticking-time explosive device with a perpetual evil smirk, a ridiculously flamboyant closet and a tendency to hit upon anything that moves. Akira’s every thing Kento isn’t… including cute and mindbendingly annoying. Really almost a miracle that the 2 of them have been dating for more than a year!! But after all that period, Akira’s still keeping a few secrets… secrets that tend to be not going to reflect well upon Kento’s choice in a companion. Would Kento’s grandparents actually survive the shock of the son dating the child of the sex-worker and an noncitizen? Or will they, since Akira puts it, “cough upward their pacemakers”?! Does Kento care more about his family’s opinion of him, or even his high-maitanance lover’s deep-seated social inferiority complex?
